Tucker + Lindsay | A Staunton Virginia Wedding | Second Shooting

Updated: Jan 29, 2020

Lindsay and Tucker got married on a beautiful day in Staunton, Virginia last September. I drove to Winchester, VA and spent the night before driving to Staunton the following morning to spend it assisting Hannah Joy Photography.

The threat of rain was definitely eminent but we had our fingers crossed that it wasn't going to happen.

Lindsay and her girls got ready at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel downtown and I've never seen such a historic and beautiful hotel. Complete with modern touches. Hannah's second shooter/boyfriend hung with the guys while I assisted Hannah who was recovering from surgery. She was such a trooper - still taking charge and taking beautiful portraits.

After the First Look, the dark clouds rolled in followed by pouring rain and the wedding which was held at the Frontier Culture Museum took the originally outdoor wedding into the beautifully decorated barn. Rain never ruins a wedding. In fact, I think it only makes it better.

The Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances were so sweet and touching - you could clearly see how Lindsay loves her Dad and how Tucker's mom clearly adores her son. The love they have for each other was clearly evident. But my favorite part was the First Look. Tucker was overcome by emotion when he saw his bride for the first time. It even made me emotional.

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from Lindsay and Tuckers September wedding.
