CJ reached out to me planning to propose to his girlfriend while they were on vacation in Myrtle Beach. It worked out perfectly since I was going to be in the area vacationing as well. CJ had told me that he brought the ring with him EVERYWHERE they went - looking for the perfect opportunity. He took it to the beach, he took it to restaurants. All to surprise JoAnna and give her a memorable engagement. Prior to a night out with friends, CJ got on one knee outside the vacation house and asked JoAnna to be his wife. Choking back tears and uncontrollable laughter, Joanna accepted and screamed YES(!!!). They only had a few days left of their vacation to squeeze in an engagement session since they wanted to do it in the place where they got engaged so we were able to work it in perfectly. We were able to do the session in the neighborhood of the vacation home and then moved to the beach. It was slightly overcast with an impending storm on the horizon so we knew time couldn't be wasted. Once we got to the beach, we quickly found that it was empty which meant we had it all to ourselves! The winds picked up once we got there which made for the perfect weather to flow JoAnna's hair and the hem of her dress. These two made everything about what I do effortless. Still on the high of the engagement that happened the day before, they were so excited and anticipated what the future held for them.
I am beyond thrilled for these two and cannot wait to see what is in store for them and their future together.
